We want to relax; in fact we sing, we play, we watch, we sleep, we chat, we argue, we fight, we call… the list is endless. We could do all these because we could place complete trust in the person responsible for manoeuvring the vehicle you are in.

A small mistake by the driver/pilot/captain, or whatever we want to call him, can lead to disastrous results; even fatal. The completed air-investigation in recently conducted Mangalore Air-Crash reveals the scary story “that 158 people onboard had to pay their lives because the pilot was sleepy and snoring for almost 90 minutes”.

http://ibnlive.in.com/news/pilot-error-behind-mangalore-air-crash-report/135177-3.html

http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5giZ6Gc6YobCfWtbaSwJdHwyuKmgw?docId=CNG.a4b7d13a383c27ada09ff8d773de7255.511&ref=nf

© Piyush Sarode.

The pristine beauty of ghats in Goa, intermittent rains and deserted beaches, Chapora and Aguada Forts, Dudhsagar and Jog falls that make you wish you had more time and time again.
I had had a wonderful journey stretching more than 20500 Kms; and enjoying each and every moment of it; Have too many pleasant memories of all the rides we have had.

Wonderful Ride, originally uploaded by Piyush Sarode.

© Piyush Sarode.

Life is a series of chapters or episodes; each interconnected with other. Whether good or bad, life moves ahead; without giving you a chance to revisit past. All we get is one sole last chance to be attentive and decide how we grab this current episode.

After that unfortunate incident on 27/7 (27th July) near Byadgi village on NH4 and long recovery process, I am now in a reasonable shape and back to Bangalore and also office.

My left knee (and leg in general) still has some weakness and sore back, I am now able to be walk back to life. It's amazing how fast our body heals itself, and it seems our attitude towards life affects this pace of its healing. A positive attitude quickens the pace or rather more than doubles.

One door closes, another opens. How true!!

Coming Back., originally uploaded by Piyush Sarode.

P.S.: Byadgi village is also famous for its chilli, which is known for deep red colour and less spiciness.

© Piyush Sarode. And then there are few you wish should keep happening all the time; but they don’t.

After all, life is not so easy and same with everyone.

Accident-1, originally uploaded by Piyush Sarode.

There are few things that leave you wondering, what if I had done like this? What if I had behaved like this? What if I had taken this at all? What if this had not at all happened? Or why me?

Few times you are guilty, but nothing happens to you; yet sometimes somebody else is guilty but you have to pay the price.

But life moves on. You have to face each and every day afresh, without knowing what that day holds for you; what surprises it brings; yet there is always something to learn.

As they say, the circumstances were right, the day was set to end the journey of this life but it was not the destined time. The guardian angel was there watching over your shoulders and life moves on as if nothing happened; you just awoke from a bad dream.

This happened within 3-4 seconds or perhaps 5 seconds when a reckless Mining Tipper driver decided to climb over 4-5 feet in order to get onto normally barricaded 4-lane express-way and in process blocking both lanes at complete right angles just 40-50 meters before the oncoming car. The car hit the tipper on fuel tank and chassis located on its sides, sacrificed itself, but made sure that all of us travelling in it survived without any internal, critical or brain injury but fractures that can heal completely over period of time.

Few more here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/piyushs/sets/72157624657108849/with/4916751742/

© Piyush Sarode. The weather was not good and it was snowing continuously on the day we had planned to visit the lake. Entry to the pass was not allowed until snowing stops and sun starts shining again. Few visitors returned from the entry checkpoint of the ChangLa Pass while we decided to wait for some more time hoping for weather to clear. With nothing more to do, except wait, we were back to photographing surroundings and playing in snow. Looked as if, this bird was also waiting for snowing to stop and sun to shine and lift surrounding temperatures to more comfortable levels.

© Piyush Sarode.
